The role

Youll be responsible for conducting investigations gathering and analysing evidence and preparing clear accurate reports that support decision-making.

What you will bring to the role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to assess complex information and draw sound conclusions.
- Confidence in managing sensitive investigations while maintaining impartiality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders conduct interviews and prepare clear concise reports.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset contributing to team goals and supporting continuous improvement.
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation policies and procedures or a willingness to learn quickly.
Key skills and experience
- Proven experience conducting investigations including evidence gathering analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation regulatory frameworks and public sector policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive or confidential matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and manage challenging conversations.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using case management systems and digital tools to support investigative processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in law criminal justice public administration or a related field.
- Formal training in investigative techniques or regulatory compliance.
- Experience working within a government or regulatory agency.
