Job Description
This role is for an EEG Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience and involves performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) and related duties. The technologist will work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities one weekend per month.
- Maintaining and cleaning EEG equipment.
- Charting patient information in Epic.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Registered EEG Technologist (REET) certification.
- Minimum two years of experience as an EEG Technologist.
- None specified.
- Guaranteed 60 hours per two weeks with possibility of one 11-hour shift cancellation per two weeks.
- No floating to other areas within the facility.
- No block scheduling accommodations.
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Exact days to be determined upon hire.
- On-call one weekend per month.
