Job Summary:
This Respiratory Therapist position requires floating between units in a short-term acute care Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The role involves providing respiratory care responding to codes and rapid responses and managing patient care on the floor and in the ER. Experience with floor care ER code response and rapid response is required. A block schedule with weekend rotations is expected.

Responsibilities:
- Providing respiratory care to patients across various units.
- Responding to codes and rapid responses.
- Managing patient care on the floor and in the ER.
- Performing patient assessments and treatments.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Respiratory Therapist license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience (stated as 2Y/1ST TIMER in input).
- BLS certification (implied).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with floor care ER code response and rapid response.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Experience with various respiratory equipment and techniques.
Special Considerations:
- Floating between units is required.
- Weekend work is required (every other weekend).
- On-call is not required.
- 48-hour work periods are approved.
