Job Description
Location: Irving TX 75061
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 AMP - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide direct patient care and monitor the condition of critically ill patients requiring close observation.
- Administer medications IVs and other prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians therapists and case managers to deliver coordinated care.
- Document patient information interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge plans.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. (Required)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. (Required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified). (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required; PCU Telemetry or Step-down experience.
