Job Description

Description:
The successful candidate will help drive the adoption of modern cloud technologies to enhance service delivery improve vendor experience and enable faster deployment of critical procurement solutions.
The Cloud Policy and Governance Specialist is responsible for developing implementing and managing cloud governance frameworks and policies to ensure secure compliant and efficient use of cloud services. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: and nbsp;Bachelors degree with and nbsp;strong English writing skills
- Experience: and nbsp;Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud governance policy development or a related field.
- Certifications: and nbsp;Relevant certifications such as ITIL and nbsp;Microsoft Certified Azure Specialty AWS Certified Security Specialty or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure AWS Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 GDPR).
- Experience with cloud management and monitoring tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent English writing skills

- Governance and Compliance: and nbsp;Deep understanding of governance and compliance requirements for cloud environments.
- Risk Management: and nbsp;Ability to identify assess and mitigate risks associated with cloud services.
- Strategic Thinking: and nbsp;Ability to align cloud governance strategies with organizational goals.
- Adaptability: and nbsp;Ability to adapt to changing technologies and regulatory landscapes.
Deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: and nbsp;Create and maintain cloud governance policies standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Risk Management: and nbsp;Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud services including data security privacy and compliance risks.
- Compliance Monitoring: and nbsp;Monitor and audit cloud environments to ensure adherence to governance security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: and nbsp;Work closely with IT security legal and business teams to ensure cloud policies align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Awareness: and nbsp;Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cloud governance policies and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: and nbsp;Continuously assess and improve cloud governance frameworks to adapt to evolving technologies and regulatory landscapes.
- Reporting: and nbsp;Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into cloud governance and compliance status to senior management.
Must Haves:
- 3 years experience deep understanding of governance and compliance requirements for cloud environments.
- 3 years experience identifying assessing and mitigating risks associated with cloud services.
- 3 years experience aligning cloud governance strategies with organizational goals.
- Strong writing skills
