Our client is a group of companies in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a Senior Human Resource Executive

Job Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
Conduct interviews background checks and oversee onboarding processes.
Maintain up-to-date HR records employee files and HRIS systems.
Oversee the preparation of employment letters contracts ID cards and other HR documentation.
Manage leave administration attendance records and ensure proper documentation.
Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labor laws maritime regulations and company policies.
Monitor and evaluate performance improvement plans and probation reviews.
Work with managers to set KPIs and track employee performance metrics.
Assist the HR Manager in developing and executing strategic HR plans to align with business goals.
Prepare monthly HR reports including headcount attrition hiring status and training progress.
Participate in HR policy reviews and updates.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for both technical and non-technical roles including seafarers port staff drivers logistics coordinators etc.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration Industrial Relations or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in logistics/shipping company
Strong understanding of HR functions and employment regulations within the shipping & logistics industry.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with maritime labor conventions and seafarer HR documentation is an added advantage.
Knowledge of HSE procedures and workforce risk management in logistics operations.
