Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Accountant to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling invoicing billing bookkeeping client and vendor interactions and providing support for day-to-day administrative tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment

Roles and Responsibilities

Generate and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Track and manage accounts receivable ensuring prompt payment collection.
Resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries related to invoices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Record daily financial transactions including sales purchases and expenses.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing payments and other financial matters.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and vendors.
Handle vendor invoice processing and payment.
Maintain vendor records including contact information and payment terms.
Track vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Assist in vendor selection and negotiation as needed.
Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing data entry and document management.
Support the team with ad-hoc financial and administrative projects.
Assist with day to day admin tasks.
Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and company policies.
Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and tax filings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g. Tally ZohoBooks).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of GST and other relevant Indian tax regulations.
Experience with client management systems.

Location - Hyderabad (In-office role - 5 days working week)
