Job Description

This is a remote position.

A Sales Engineer for Industrial Capital Items & Services bridges the gap between technical solutions and customer needs. They identify potential clients understand their requirements and present tailored solutions often involving complex industrial equipment or services. They use their technical expertise to demonstrate product capabilities prepare proposals negotiate contracts and provide post-sales support. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge sales acumen and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Qualify Leads:
    Research and identify potential customers in the industrial sector who could benefit from the companys products or services.
  • Understand Customer Needs:
    Engage with clients to understand their specific technical requirements and challenges.
  • Develop and Present Solutions:
    Collaborate with engineering teams to design and propose customized solutions that address customer needs. This includes preparing technical proposals presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate Contracts:
    Work with clients to negotiate terms pricing and contracts for the sale of industrial capital items and services.
  • Provide Technical Support:
    Offer technical expertise and support throughout the sales process including pre-sales consultations product demonstrations and post-sales support.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships:
    Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Stay Updated:
    Continuously update knowledge of industry trends competitor products and emerging technologies in the industrial sector.
  • Collaborate Internally:
    Work closely with sales engineering product development and other teams to ensure seamless communication and successful project execution.
  • Achieve Sales Targets:
    Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
  • Provide Post-Sales Support:
    Offer ongoing technical support to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction. This may involve troubleshooting training and addressing any technical issues.
  • Prepare Reports and Forecasts:
    Maintain accurate records of sales activities generate reports and provide forecasts to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Strong understanding of industrial products services and their applications.
  • Sales Skills:
    Proven ability to identify leads build relationships negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to analyze customer needs identify solutions and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    Ability to build rapport with clients collaborate effectively with internal teams and work independently.
  • Bachelors Degree:
    Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Prior experience in industrial sales or a related technical sales role is often preferred.
In essence a Sales Engineer for Industrial Capital Items & Services is a technical expert with strong sales and communication skills who acts as a bridge between the companys technical solutions and the customers needs.

Strong willingness of Communication Analysis & Customer Engagement is must. Preferred MBA with Sales & Marketing or Business Development. Willing to Speak to anyone without any hesitation.
