Job Description
- Receive compile and organize financial records while maintaining proper filing systems for future reference.
- Process documents related to financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review ADNs GRNs and invoices for correctness and post them into the accounting system using appropriate codes.
- Prepare reports required by the Financial Controller to support the compilation of the unit s overall financial statements.
- Ensure systematic and accessible filing of accounting records.
- Manage tax-related activities to optimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
- Maintain data quality and integrity in management information and reporting systems.
- Monitor and control capital investment budget activities.
- Participate in stocktaking and physical/financial asset verification exercises as directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance Business Management or a related field.
- CPA certification is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in taxation tasks.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in accounting or a related finance role.
- Solid knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) as well as relevant local accounting principles and regulations.
- Strong IT skills including accounting systems proficiency.
- Self-motivated with initiative and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent team player and communicator with fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
