Job Description

Our team are creative and tenacious and were looking for a Senior Game Programmer to join us in our studio based in Miramar Wellington.

 

The role

In this hands-on role youll work closely with designers artists and fellow programmers to design and deliver high-quality scalable game features and tools.

 

Youll be:

  • Developing and maintaining gameplay systems
  • Mentoring junior programmers and lead core gameplay development
  • Driving code quality system performance and robust documentation
  • Hunting bugs fixing issues and optimising for performance
  • Staying on top of new tools techniques and coding standards

Our ideal candidate

Were looking for someone with a good few years games industry experience behind them with at least one shipped title to their name. Significant exposure to Unreal and the ability to code in C are required too.

Youll be comfortable mentoring junior members of the team have a deep understanding in at least one common game system and be familiar with industry standard source control solutions like Git. You will also be confident with games-related mathematics (eg physics and simulations trig and geometry logic and Boolean algebra etc)
