Job Description

Turner & Townsend are looking for a Logistics Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to support a large-scale construction project. The ideal candidate has great communication skills and leadership skills. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support data center construction expansion and maintenance projects. 
  • Manage procurement and logistics of servers networking equipment power systems cooling units and other critical infrastructure components. 
  • Coordinate with engineering construction and operations teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines. 
  • Oversee global and regional logistics including customs compliance freight forwarding and last-mile delivery to data center sites. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with OEMs distributors and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). 
  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and staging areas to ensure availability and minimize downtime. 
  • Implement supply chain risk mitigation strategies including alternative sourcing and contingency planning. 
  • Utilize ERP and DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) systems to track assets and optimize workflows. 
  • Drive continuous improvement across supply chain tools and processes. 
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable. 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. 
  • Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience 
  • Strong experience with ERP systems preferably SAP. 
  • Prior people management experience 
  • Proven track record of successful procurement and supply chain oversight  
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy. 
  • Ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis. 
  • Passion for creating innovative approaches to solve abstract business problems. 
  • Ability to infer realistic business and supply chain implications from data and model results. 
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets charts and presentations. 
  • Excellent communication skills
