Job Description
What will you be doing
We are seeking experienced Hardware Electronics Engineers to join our team supporting avionics and mission computing systems. This role involves end-to-end hardware design including FPGA development circuit and layout design and hardware certification activities.
You will work on safety-critical embedded systems collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and compliant hardware solutions.
Location: Hastings
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design and develop FPGA architectures and logic for mission-critical embedded systems.
- Perform detailed circuit and PCB layout design ensuring signal integrity and reliability.
- Lead or support hardware certification efforts compliant with aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software systems and test engineers to integrate hardware components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during development testing and certification phases.
- Maintain documentation and configuration management to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Participate in design reviews risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in hardware electronics engineering within avionics or mission-critical domains.
- Proven experience with FPGA development circuit design and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with hardware certification processes and aerospace standards.
- Ability to work under SC UKEO security clearance requirements or willingness to obtain clearance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
