Custodian -Industrial Experience Required

First Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Times negotiable)

Responsibility/Essential Functions

• Daily: Gather break down and dispose of trash in bins and containers in the plant and offices and put in outside dumpsters.
• Daily: Gather break down and dispose of recyclables in bins and containers in the plant and offices and put in outside dumpsters.
• Daily: Clean disinfect & service restrooms in the plants and offices and stock supplies for the restrooms in each building.
• Perform general cleanup in all areas.
• On a weekly basis for buildings 4 5 6 7 & break trailer clean floors by sweeping vacuuming and removing any debris that could be a risk to employees.
• Notify managers when encountering the need for repairs or additions to buildings/operating systems.
• Perform non-routine cleanings according to specified jobs assigned.
• Handle emergency cleanings and upkeep requests.
• Dusting disinfecting high touch areas mopping vacuuming etc.
• Organization

• Prior industrial building maintenance and custodial experience highly preferred.

Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) PLUS 3 years related experience.

• Proficient in interpersonal skills
• Some experience in manufacturing custodial work

Work Environment

Employee will work in an office environment as well as a production manufacturing and warehouse environment throughout the day.
