We are looking for a Studio Floor Coordinator to join our Photo Studio team at ourBuzz Studio in Leighton Buzzard.This role would suit someone with previous experience working in a photography and video studio. This is for an energetic and open minded individual who is seeking to forge a career in a busy and creative environment.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include assisting with the coordinating of shoot samples and the management of the studio and location shoots. Supporting the creative teams with products and serving the teams requirements with a strong focus on location shoots.
Maintaining the studio environment and upholding health and safety at all times is a crucial element to this role. You will act as an ambassador for our brand delivering exceptional service through good communication passion and engaging with our customers.
- Lead and coordinate the studio floor assistants andbrief studio runners in relation to samples required for studio/location shoots - working closely with the Senior Studio Floor Coordinator on this.
- Be the point of contact for the creative production and planning teams to assist with any queries and provide regular updates.
- Have an understanding of all ad-hoc / creative shoots that are happening within the Photo Studio and location communicating with the creative and planning team the necessary shoot information.
- Implement dynamic operational working procedures to support the delivery of service excellence
- Work with the Studio Tech team to ensure the care and maintenance of all photography & studio equipment
- Responsible for training new Studio Floor Assistants and Runners for studio process and workflow - working with the SSFC on organising regular workshops and training days.
- Attend meetings and present updates and communication in front of the team.
- Drive company vehicles in accordance with company procedures and between sites when required. Be the main point of contact for the location vans/vehicles ensuring they are safe & fit for purpose. Liaising with the warehouse & set build teams on the maintenance of the vans.
- Responsible for the safety of colleagues and yourself in the workplace. To report or deal with any hazards incidents and accidents.
- Assist in Ad hoc duties as set out by the Studio Managers.
- Deputise in the absence of the Senior Studio Floor Coordinator if needed and perform any ad hoc duties as set out by the Senior and Studio Manager.
About you:
- Experience in working on a studio floor & on location shoots are essential.
- Experience in providing a service for studio teams and external clients.
- Experience with Photography equipment and shoot set ups
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage varying workloads and multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Be able to work well under pressure have a flexible attitude and be responsive to change in accordance with ever changing studio deadlines.
- Desire to maintain high standards at all times
- Strong leadership qualities taking full responsibility for the day-to-day management of this area.
- Superior planning workload management and organisational capabilities.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work outside of set hours/weekends
- Full UK driving licence required
- Excellent Google Suite experience including proven experience of using Docs/Sheets (Using Mac OS.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers senior management and external suppliers/clients.
