Job Description
General Summary:
Performs all types of floor care maintenance including stripping waxing and daily upkeep of ceramic terrazzo and tile flooring. Cleans and maintains all carpets using various manual and automated cleaning processes including foam and steam extraction.
Required Experience:

Ability to read and interpret chemical labels and apply them safely (typically acquired through a High School diploma or GED).

Valid drivers license.

Minimum of 3 years experience as a floor technician with knowledge of terrazzo flooring stripping and refinishing and carpet maintenance including dry and wet cleaning methods.
Required Skills:

Clean and maintain equipment ensuring it is in good working condition and properly stored after use.

Complete all assignments according to schedule.

Collect and remove trash from various containers inside and outside buildings and dispose of it in designated areas.

Maintain all types of ceiling and wall surfaces including acoustic tile metal slat acrylic vinyl and carpet.

Perform other duties as assigned.
