About the Directorate
The Assurance and Public Protection directorateensures democratic accountability of council services. The directorate work together to monitor and ensure compliance and provide assurance of Barnet being an engaged and effective council that protects the public purse. They provide enforcement services that engage and protect residents and businesses to support a safer and healthier borough.
About the role
The post holder will join a central Improvement Team (within the Assurance and Public Protection directorate) that lead continuous improvement and provide exceptional compliance and operational support.
Reporting to the Improvement Lead the post holder will coordinate and support improvement and compliance activities and provide business support for teams delivering a range of services within the directorate.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity - There is a mandatory requirement of 3 days per week in the office
