The Role
We are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to join our Business Development team here in Brisbane Queensland. Due to current project deliveries and growing demand for infrastructure upgrades in the state we are looking for someone who can responsibly maintain and build on current relationships with clients partners and designers to generate opportunities predominantly within the Rail Infrastructure space.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies aligned with market trends and client needs.
- Identifying and mapping potential business opportunities including evaluating new markets and sectors for expansion.
- Managing and maintaining the companys major project pipeline including leading tenders coordinating bid processes and facilitating project initiation meetings.
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with existing and potential clients consultants contractors and industry stakeholders to generate business growth.
- Conducting proactive client outreach through lead generation prospecting and targeted engagement initiatives.
- Preparing negotiating and managing contracts and commercial agreements with clients partners and external stakeholders.
- Developing and presenting tailored business proposals and solutions that meet client requirements and support company objectives.
- Supporting the Business Development Director in planning reporting and executing strategic initiatives including the preparation of weekly activity and performance reports.
- Maintaining regular contact with key accounts to ensure high levels of client satisfaction service quality and client retention.
- Representing the company at industry events trade shows and internal company functions to promote the business and identify networking opportunities.
- Keeping up to date with knowledge of products services and value propositions to effectively position the company in competitive markets.
- Negotiating with stakeholders and decision-makers to secure profitable contracts and support the successful delivery of business initiatives.
