Who You Are:
At QTS our Leave Of Absence Administrator (LOA) is vital to our continued success. This individual sets the tone for how we handle LOA administration including process improvement to drive an ideal experience for our most valued item at QTS our people. We are looking for someone who likes to challenge traditional processes and create new and exciting approaches in how we think about this work. Individuals with a passion for relationships change management and the ability to work in a fast-growing environment will thrive in our organization.
The Impact You Will Have:
In the LOA Administrator role you will drive innovation and thought leadership by defining and developing processes and work flows for leaves of absence at QTS. In this role you will ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and local leave laws and regulations while collaborating with key internal stakeholders third-party administrators the payroll team and government agencies. Strong communication skills experience with audits and review and updating leave policies are also a core component to this role.
What You Will Do:
What You Will Need to be Successful (basic qualifications):
Bachelors degree in business administration Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
3 years of experience in leave of absence and/or disability claim management.
In-depth knowledge of FMLA ADA PWFA USERRA and other state-specific leave laws.
Knowledge of HIPAA policy and confidentiality requirements.
Other Key Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
