Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate EEG Technologist to join our healthcare team in Mayfield KY. If youre passionate about patient care and skilled in performing EEG and related neurodiagnostic testing we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized Electroencephalogram (EEG) testing on patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Prepare patients for procedures ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process
- Operate and maintain EEG equipment and software
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic data
- Maintain patient records and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist ( T.) by ABRET - Preferred
- Graduate of an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Program AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program or at least 2 years of clinical EEG experience - Preferred
- Additional credentialing as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist by the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology - Preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
