- Engagement Type: This is a full-time independent contractor engagement.
- Compensation: The professional fee range of AUD 1800 to 2400 per month is an all-inclusive rate for the contractors services.
- Schedule: While this engagement follows a standard 5-day workweek the contractor must be open to handling weekend deliverables if required.
- Experience Requirement: We kindly ask that you express interest only if you have substantial experience in B2B sales and corporate account management. The client is seeking a contractor who can confidently step into the scope of work and contribute from day one as there is limited capacity for extensive training or onboarding support. Selection Process
- Initial Discussion with VargasAndrews (30 to 45 minutes) An initial conversation to learn about your background experience and professional goals. Youll also have the chance to ask questions about the engagement and the client.
- Technical Live Assessment with the Client (60 to 90 minutes) This stage evaluates your practical capabilities in sales outreach lead qualification and handling virtual conversations relevant to the scope of services.
- Behavioral Interview with the Client (60 minutes) Focuses on culture and behavioral alignment
- Pre-Engagement Steps (10-15 minutes) IT Audit and Refence Check
- Pre-Engagement Call with the Founder (30 to 60 minutes) A final conversation to discuss the engagement terms expectations and answer any remaining questions. Youll also learn more about the companys vision and long-term goals.

Position Summary:
Smart Suites seeks a results-oriented Corporate Account Manager to act as an independent contractor helping grow our B2B revenue stream.
The role will focus on acquiring corporate and trade clients for accommodation nurturing relationships with travel agents relocation firms and insurance/NDIS brokers building referral pipelines supporting tender submissions and contract acquisition collaborating with marketing and OTA management to uncover new demand channels
Scope of Services:
As a Corporate Account Manager your responsibilities include:
Client & Referral Network Development
- Research and engage travel agents relocation companies insurance brokers and TMCs
- Set up introductory calls maintain a referral CRM and nurture top referrers
- Schedule periodic touchpoints and coordinate face-to-face meetings or lunches for the AU-based BDM
- Proactively ask for referrals and identify mutual value adds
- Maintain a high top-of-mind presence through regular communication
Corporate Client Acquisition & Upselling
- Identify and contact decision-makers in construction logistics government health and training sectors
- Conduct virtual presentations of Smart Suites offering and draft tailored accommodation solutions
- Manage mid-stay and post-stay touchpoints to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain a rolling engagement calendar for follow-ups renewals and rate reviews
Tender & Proposal Support
- Assist in drafting and responding to tenders for:
- Corporate and government mid-term accommodation contracts
- Prepare supporting documentation (pricing schedules property specs company info packs)
Campaigns & Lead Generation
- Coordinate with Marketing to:
- Launch LinkedIn and email campaigns for lead nurturing
- Create case studies testimonial decks and value props for B2B buyers
- Monitor campaign results and use CRM data to optimize targeting
OTA & Niche Platform Collaboration
- Partner with the Listings/Revenue team to list on industry-specific OTAs (e.g. for FIFO tradies nurses)
- Assist in content or listing optimization to appeal to corporate buyers
Ongoing Account Management
- Ensure smooth onboarding and handover to Guest Experience team
- Monitor booking behaviors and feedback to anticipate churn or gaps
- Deliver monthly client performance summaries where applicable
- Run quarterly reviews with high-value accounts.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Prospecting Activity: The contractor must contact at least 30 new travel agents brokers or corporate leads each month.
- Virtual Meetings: A minimum of 10 virtual meetings with decision-makers and referrers must be conducted monthly.
- Referral Growth: At least 5 new qualified referral partners must be added to the CRM each month with 15 active per quarter.
- Tender Contributions: The contractor is expected to participate 100% on time in the preparation of proposal documents and pricing.
- Revenue Contribution: Monthly revenue from acquired or referral accounts should meet or exceed the assigned growth targets.
- CRM Hygiene: Data in the CRM must be maintained with at least 98% completeness and accuracy.
- Campaign Execution: At least one LinkedIn or email campaign must be coordinated with the marketing team each quarter.
- Client Retention: The contractor should achieve a minimum client retention rate of 75% through repeat business.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years in B2B sales or corporate account management ideally in hospitality real estate or travel
- Strong virtual relationship management and proposal writing skills
- Experience handling tenders rate negotiations or procurement-style processes
- Deep knowledge of corporate travel relocation or workforce housing
- Strong CRM fluency (Zoho HubSpot or Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Self-motivated persistent and comfortable working independently in a remote setup
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator email sequencing tools and AI-based prospecting platforms a plus
