Are you a compassionate and motivated nurse who values strong team culture and meaningful client relationships Medivet Acton is currently seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and close-knit team in delivering outstanding care to a loyal and growing client base. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years UK experience clinical coaching experience also ideal but not essential.
Situated in the heart of West London Medivet Acton has built a reputation as a trusted part of the local community with much of our success driven by word of mouth and long-standing relationships. The practice benefits from its close proximity to our 24-hour Richmond hospital offering seamless access to advanced diagnostics including CT and ensuring smooth timely transfers for patients requiring overnight care or further investigation.
Our caseload is varied and engaging offering opportunities to build your skills across a range of clinical areas. We take pride in our supportive and collaborative working culture where every team member is valued and respected and our shared ethos allows us to maintain a consistently high standard of patient and client care.
This role offers an excellent work-life balance with flexibility built in to suit the right candidate. The permanent position involves approximately 40 hours per week with participation in a shared weekend rota. Enjoy a flexible 4/5-day week.

Role Accountabilities
Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. Thats the care for our patients our clients and for each other we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.
In this role you will:
Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.
Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
Support with surgeries and procedures completing all pre and post procedure activity.
Lead manage and promote nurse led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
Deliver patient monitoring and care.
Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
Dispense and check medication.
Deliver professional excellence implementing and complying with all regulatory practice and operational standards.
Inspire your team sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes.
Engage coach and develop your team.
Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills and Experience
RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Able to confidently lead a clinical team.
Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and nurse consultations.
Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
