A dedicated and passionate Veterinary Surgeon is being sought to join a thriving and compassionate team at a stand-alone small animal practice in Hucknall Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet seeking a supportive environment where their skills will be truly valued.
About the Practice
Situated in the bustling town of Hucknall just outside Nottingham the practice enjoys excellent transport links while maintaining a relaxed suburban atmosphere.
The practice itself is home to a close-knit team of 3 experienced Vets 4 supportive Nurses and 4 friendly Receptionists. Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere the team also enjoys the occasional social outing together.
The Ideal Candidate

A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with current RCVS registration

Experienced in small animal first opinion practice in the UK

Confident in both consultations and surgical procedures

A surgical interest or certificate holder would be welcomed

Potential opportunity for progression into a Lead Vet role for the right individual

Full-time applicants are preferred though part-time options can be discussed

Weekend rota participation (either 1:3 or 1:4) with time off in lieu

Excellent communication skills with a passion for animal welfare and high standards of patient care

Strong team player who can also work independently
