More than $600 billion in nationwide grants is available to public safety agencies and local government each year. Few organizations have grants experts on staff or the time to research opportunities and develop grant applications.

The Customer Success Manager- Grants Subscriptions plays a key role on the Grants Team. The overall goal is the fulfillment of grant writing services contracts and a focus on GAP Gov contracts with the added goal of ensuring a positive relationship between contracted clients and the Grants team. This includes strong customer service account management and administrative tasks including onboarding and offboarding as well as the set up for grant alerts and calendars for client contracts. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Grants Services.
This is done through working in these areas of focus:
Management and fulfillment of contracted retained grant subscription services
Application Assembly Grant Writing and Special Project Management
Grant writer narrative delivery review and management
Responsible for assisting Sales and Customer Success with consult calls with prospective departments which involves grant opportunity recommendations.
Responsible for reviewing notice of funding opportunities
Responsible for GrantFinder onboarding and offboarding of GAP Gov/Retainer Services clients
Responsible for research assistance
Grant Writing Project Fulfillment (45%)
Example activities:
Management and fulfillment of contracted grant writing agreements
Application Assembly Grant Writing and Special Project Management
Tracking down missing department information
Grant writer narrative delivery review and management
Responsible for assisting Sales and Customer Success with consult calls with prospective departments which involves grant opportunity recommendations.
Responsible for reviewing notice of funding opportunities and relaying this information to Business Development and Customer Success
Administrative Duties (10%)

Requirements: To be considered for this role you will have this experience:
Public service grant experience: firefighter law enforcement EMS corrections school hospitals or municipality.
1-3 years working in a professional local government or nonprofit setting
Highly proficient at project managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Adept at rapidly developing rapport with clients and prospective clients.
Research skills: inquisitive mindset to persistently seek out new funding opportunities for our clients
Willingness to learn new grant programs
Committed to client success
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with grants in a local government or nonprofit setting
Familiarity with local government administrative best practices
Experience working with various CRM databases
