Position Overview
You will support our client-facing consultants internal researchers marketing team and other enabling functions in consistently producing high-quality visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing outputs in PowerPoint and Word. You will contribute directly to building impactful reports or dynamic outputs that help biopharmaceutical companies develop launch and market medicines. You will also be required to assist in the production of marketing materials special projects or other initiatives.
Responsibilities
The following are example responsibilities of this position and are as such not meant to be exhaustive nor convey every responsibility as these may vary over time without changing the essence of this position:
- Design: Design and refine presentations (primarily in PowerPoint) ensuring they are visually impactful and conform to Prescient or client guidelines regarding colours fonts and other high-level design elements
- Storytelling: Support authors to tell a compelling visual story by developing appropriate animations photographs charts and graphs
- Formatting: Format Word and PowerPoint deliverables in line with Prescient corporate style or if requested client style
- Additional Support: Assist with the production of white paper blogs and other marketing material by developing appropriate visual assets such as infographics; maintain and update a repository of knowledge assets such as well-designed presentations
- Reporting: Maintain a record of tasks performed for different parts of the business and prepare regular reports on volume of work done and quality of deliverables
Education Experience Knowledge and Other Skills
The following criteria outline the minimum hiring criteria for this position unless otherwise stipulated below as preferred or a plus.
- Undergraduate or advanced degree in a relevant discipline with three or more years experience in creating business presentations
- Professional design experience in a scientific medical or technical environment is preferred
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications particularly PowerPoint Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of Adobe graphic design software such as Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop is a plus
- Experience working with business systems and applications
- Knowledge of the management consulting and/or life sciences industry is preferred
- Communication: Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Track record of proactive communication in the work environment including proactively seeking feedback to improve capabilities. Understands varying cross-functional roles and responsibilities and adapts communications accordingly. Communicates technical information in a manner that others can assimilate
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work well within teams. Knows how to identify and leverage diversity within teams
- Project Management Time Management and Organisation:Demonstrated abilities to effectively support projects to ensure on-time within-budget and high-quality deliverables. Demonstrates high attention to detail and quality. Proven abilities to operate autonomously when needed and make decisions with confidence. Recognises shifts in priorities and other changes that impact work and adjusts accordingly
- Influencing and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage routine interactions and communications with stakeholders. Proactively plans stakeholder interactions and communications into process and approach
- Achieving Results: Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned goals and objectives. Proven abilities to navigate well through change and ambiguity
