Qualifications
Bachelors degree required. 5-10 years of experience managing programs for and providing administrative support to executive level personnel. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and the ability to work independently with sound judgement. Strong proficiency in digital tools including report and presentation creation (PowerPoint Excel) and virtual meeting management (Zoom and others). Ability to work a flexible schedule including the occasional early mornings late evenings and/or weekends to support programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience dealing with businesses governments not for profits and other groups in the creation and/or implementation of community-facing programs preferred. Understanding of suburban demographic dynamics particularly those affecting poorer underserved communities. Familiarity with Long Islands complex political historical economic social and literal geographies. Knowledge of Hofstra budgeting and other administrative processes.
