Job Description

Job Summary:
The Grants Coordinator supports the effective planning management and compliance of grant-
funded programs across the school district. Working under the direction of district leadership
the Grants Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for pre- and post-award
activities including grant applications documentation reporting and communication. This role
is essential in ensuring the district maximizes funding opportunities to enhance student
achievement instructional programs and school-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation submission and tracking of federal state and private grant
applications in collaboration with campus and central office leaders.
Maintain calendars and databases to monitor grant deadlines reporting requirements
and renewal opportunities.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of required reports documentation and
compliance materials.
Work closely with campus administrators instructional leaders and finance staff to
monitor grant budgets and expenditures in alignment with allowable use guidelines.
Collect and compile data on program outcomes student performance and grant-funded
activities to support evaluation and reporting.
Write grant plans inclusive of comprehensive needs assessments alignment to District
Improvement Plan and Campus Improvement plan as applicable.
Maintain organized records of all active and archived grant files in accordance with
district policy and audit standards.
Support communication between the district campuses and external funding agencies
as needed.
Research grant opportunities that align with district goals and strategic initiatives.
Prepare summaries memos and presentations to inform district leadership and
stakeholders of grant status and impact.
Perform additional administrative duties to support the districts operational needs as
assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree ideally in education business public administration or a related
field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in administrative support education
programs or grant work.
Familiarity with public charter school operations and funding preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) is required; experience
with grant or data management systems is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-
paced environment.
