Position Overview

Reporting to the VP of Home Care and Hospice Services the Granite VNA Administrative Assistant for Home Care and Hospice Operations is responsible for supporting the VP of Home Care and Hospice with administrative duties and assignments that are confidential and sensitive in nature. This position requires the ability to anticipate needs think critically exercises a high degree of discretion and independent judgment with respect to the needs of the organization and related agency matter with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.


Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Supports Vice President of Home Care and Hospice by performing administrative tasks including but not limited to letters memos scheduling and set up of meetings setting up and preparing reports special projects and miscellaneous clerical tasks.
  • Works closely with the Vice President of Home Care and Hospice having access to sensitive information which must be kept confidential.
  • Attends identified meetings for minute taking or other assigned tasks.
  • Maintains and tracks data for report generation.
  • Completes work timely and accurately as requested. Re-checks work to be sure documents is error free.
  • Prepares monthly quarterly and annual data reports.
  • Compiles assigned reports and forwards relevant information to management as directed.
  • Accompanies Vice President of Home Care and Hospice to multi-site offices to provide support and assistance where needed.
  • Assists with the coordination of front desk staff and provides back up with coverage when needed.
  • Assists with employee attendance tracking
  • Assists with generating contracts at the direction of the Vice President of Home Care and Hospice.

Expected Hours of Work

The team member will be scheduled to work Monday Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm. Work assignments may include holidays.


Requirements
  1. Associate degree in a business-related field or high school diploma and equivalent experience
  2. Three to five years of administrative support experience
  3. Three years of healthcare administrative support experience
