Role: SAP FICO/RTR Lead (Senior Manager level Techo-functional profile)

Base Location: Winnipeg MB (client site)
Work Model: Hybrid - combination of on-site and remote work
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Travel Requirement:
Candidate may reside anywhere in Canada but travel to Winnipeg MB is mandatory and a key requirement of this role.
Expected travel frequency is approximately 50 70% though the exact number of days on site is undetermined at this time.
Candidate must be flexible and willing to adjust to client needs regarding on-site presence
Project Background
- We are seeking a contractor to assist in developing applicable methodologies tools approaches points of view thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate client in the ERP advisory market. Candidate needs to be highly skilled in FI and CO modules plus this is a Lead role so we are requesting strong profiles from both functional and technical perspectives.
Qualifications
- Solid experience working with SAP Finance modules (GL AP AR AA CO Treasury SAC-Planning) and/or Group reporting as well as participation in full life cycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required. Familiarity with SAP Finance integration to PM PS MM CS IS-U SCM (EWM) etc.
- Solid experience with all aspects of financial and management accounting within an ERP system.
- A bachelors degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience at minimum; or a masters degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience at minimum
- A degree in computer science accounting finance or a related field (MBA or Business Undergraduate degree preferred). SAP certification/s highly preferred.
- Experience executing a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by both client business process team and technical delivery team.
- Development of project documentation training materials requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and statutory and regulatory (in Power & Utilities) is a plus.
- Experience with finance strategy and costing methodologies including capital management O&A reporting asset management financial accounting cost accounting and reporting systems (Analysis for Office SAC Datasphere) a plus. As well as knowledge of budgeting planning and forecasting operations and technology a plus.
