Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team.
Candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable
backend services that power our applications and products. The ideal candidate has
strong experience in Python cloud infrastructure and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop test and deploy backend services and APIs using Python (Flask FastAPI
or Django).
Design scalable architectures and microservices to support new features and
enhancements.
Integrate and optimize SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g.
MongoDB Redis DynamoDB) data stores.
Build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS GCP or Azure (e.g.
Lambda EC2 Cloud Functions).
Collaborate with frontend developers product managers and DevOps to deliver
robust software solutions.
Implement monitoring logging and error handling to ensure backend reliability
and performance.
Write clean modular and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews architectural discussions and team sprints.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
1 3 years of experience developing backend systems with Python.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming.
Strong experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Redis or Cassandra.
Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/
Azure).
Familiarity with Linux Operating System Shell Scripts CI/CD pipelines version
control (Git) and containerization (Docker).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ Kafka or SQS.
Familiarity with serverless frameworks and cloud-native design patterns.
Understanding of API security authentication (OAuth2 JWT) and rate limiting.
Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
Previous experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
