Job Description

Our Organization is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to support students in core academic areas during theschool year. This full-time on-site position will involve co-teaching or leading instruction in English Science or Social Studies depending on student needs and scheduling.

We re looking for a professional who thrives in specialized classroom settings and can deliver tailored instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Whether you re seeking a direct hire or contract role we offer flexible placement options that match your goals and expertise.

In this role you ll work closely with general education teachers to deliver adapted content and provide accommodations that align with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You ll play a key role in helping students access grade-level curriculum while addressing specific learning goals. This includes modifying instructional materials supporting differentiated instruction and reinforcing essential academic and social-emotional skills.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a similar role.
Bachelor s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Illinois teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education.
