Role: Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master
Location: Toronto ON

Delivery Lead/Scrum Master - 6 years scrum master overall 15 years experiences
Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master / Delivery Lead with strong expertise incloud platforms (AWS Azure) application development and testing and agile delivery practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a DevOps POD facilitating agile ceremonies removing blockers and ensuring successful delivery of cloud-native solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills and proficiency with tools like Jira Confluence and other Scrum and DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a cross-functional DevOps POD including DevOps Developers QA and Product Owners.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and reviews.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of EPICs and user stories through the intake process.
- Collaborate with application development and testing teams to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Track and manage progress using Jira and Confluence ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement.
- Support cloud migration and application modernization initiatives across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices including CI/CD Infrastructure as Code(IaC) and security compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies and agile delivery practices.
- Hands-on experience with Jira Confluence and other Scrum tools.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
- Understanding of application development testing and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD containerization and automation.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Knowledge of SaaS PaaS and IaaS models and cloud-native architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
- Experience leading distributed teams in a POD structure.
- Background in cloud migration and application modernization projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps metrics such as deployment frequency lead time MTTR and change failure rate.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and productivity within agile teams.
