Job Description

Job Summary (List Format) IT Asset / Inventory Manager

- Manage and optimize IT hardware inventory and logistics across 20 data centers and third-party sites
- Oversee asset tracking using ServiceNow and Splunk ensuring accurate up-to-date records
- Reconcile inventory and stock levels identify shortages and maintain adequate spares (e.g. optics power supplies)
- Handle inbound logistics hardware reservations and equipment deliveries
- Document inventory status research and correct system/reporting errors and resolve discrepancies with vendors
- Oversee and update all inventory transactions internally and with 3rd party vendors
- Analyze inventory data calculate trends/measurements and recommend corrections or improvements
- Develop and communicate business insights and key findings to senior management
- Create metrics and reporting outputs in collaboration with leadership
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams on hardware delivery statuses
- Maintain inventory documentation and reporting ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in Alpharetta GA
- Utilize advanced Excel Microsoft Office PowerBI and SharePoint skills
- Leverage ITAM/CHAMP certification and understanding of Agile/Kanban methodologies
- Requires 7 years of IT inventory control experience ideally in tech or financial sectors and a bachelors degree in business/IT or related field
