Job Description

On behalf of one of its clients a consultancy company in Engineering & Technology the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Consultant (Asset Integrity Management).

As a Consultant in the AIM team you will support and lead projects that assess optimize and manage the integrity of industrial assets across sectors such as oil & gas chemicals power water and manufacturing. You will work closely with clients to deliver engineering analyses field assessments and asset management strategies aligned with international standards and operational objectives. You will also contribute to the development of junior team members by sharing technical knowledge good practices and project methodologies.

Responsibilities
Conduct technical assessments of fixed and rotating assets (e.g. pressure vessels piping tanks structures) and participate in site inspections for complete perspective of projects.
Conduct damage mechanism review (DMR) and develop inspection plans to extend the inspection periods of statutory equipment.
Support or lead Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) development and implementation projects
Perform Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) Fitness-for-Service (FFS) Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and life extension studies.
Contribute to the definition and optimization of inspection maintenance and monitoring plans.
Analyse data collected from inspection or monitoring campaigns and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Develop technical documentation reports and presentations to support client decision-making.
Liaise with clients to understand challenges propose solutions and deliver technical expertise with high professionalism.
Participate in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
Ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and in compliance with applicable standards (API ASME ISO etc.).
Guide and mentor junior engineers during projects promoting knowledge transfer and technical skill development.
Support internal training efforts by sharing expertise lessons learned and tools with the broader team as well as external training for the public and clients.


Requirements


Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Materials Science Materials Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 10 years of experience in Asset Integrity Inspections or related roles.
Knowledge of AIM principles methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with standards such as API 580/581 API 579 ASME.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
Experience with tools such as Ansys API RBI software or equivalent is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); other languages a plus.
Team player with a willingness to share knowledge and support junior colleagues in their development.
Willingness to travel occasionally for field work or client engagement.
