We are currently seeking a Flight Test Compliance Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming flight test programmes for next-generation gas turbine engines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class engineering team delivering verified validated and certified propulsion solutions for civil or defense aviation sectors.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensure compliance of flight test data and associated documentation with relevant certification requirements standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g. EASA/FAA/Def Stan).
- Support and contribute to Verification and Validation (V&V) processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work closely with systems engineering and flight test teams to analyse requirements ensure traceability and provide compliance evidence for internal and regulatory approvals.
- Review and manage technical documentation compliance matrices and test plans to align with certification objectives.
- Liaise with stakeholders including engineering design teams airworthiness authorities and program management.
- Provide technical input on gas turbine systems with a clear understanding of propulsion system integration and performance characteristics.
- Identify and address potential gaps in test coverage compliance or verification strategy.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Proven experience in Certification activities including exposure to civil or defense regulatory environments.
- Hands-on involvement in Verification & Validation (V&V) processes in a flight test or system test context.
- Solid understanding of requirements analysis traceability and documentation best practices.
- Strong background or exposure to gas turbine engines including propulsion systems component testing or integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards (e.g. DO-178C DO-254 ARP4754A EASA Part 21 or CS-E).
- Experience working directly on flight test programs or in an airworthiness or compliance engineering capacity.
- Familiarity with test instrumentation data review tools and flight test software systems.
- Understanding of systems engineering processes such as MBSE DOORS or equivalent.
