Contract Type: Permanent 35 hours per week

Grade: 7

Location: Stratford London or Trafford Manchester

London Salary: Starting salary 35951 per annum

Role

An exciting job opportunity has become available for the right candidate to join us as a Housing Officer within our L&Q Living Housing Management Team. Independent Living is an integral part of what we do delivering services primarily for our customers aged 55 and over.

We are an aspirational and forward-thinking team responsible for delivering quality housing to our customers. As our customers are always at the heart of our service we strive to deliver excellent services to the local community and work with our customers to enable them to maintain their independence and live well.

You will be covering a patch of six schemes across the Medway in Kent and the London Boroughs of Bexley and Richmond providing frontline housing management for our vulnerable customers.

You will be responsible for all housing management functions including carrying out health and safety checks ensuring maintenance or repair work has been carried out resolving neighbourly disputes or incidents of anti-social behaviour and offering tenancy advice to our vulnerable customers or their support agencies.

You will be a hard-working individual who works well under pressure and is passionate about providing excellent customer service to our customers and other stakeholders.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Whilst normal office working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm occasional out of hours working may be required to meet the needs of our customers.

This is an essential car user post to which an additional monthly allowance is paid. The post holder is required to hold a fulldriving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for Business Use.
