From practical skill-building workshops to immersive leadership programs and university-wide engagement initiatives we support our leaders and teams to grow lead with purpose and shape a positive future-focused workforce.

- Sustainable Design Enabling success through design that drives productivity and performance including workforce planning.
The Senior Officer Leadership & Organisational Development is a hands-on role in Deakins dynamic L&OD team helping to boost organisational capability engagement and productivity. Youll play a key part in delivering impactful capability programs and university-wide engagement initiatives. In this role youll work closely with stakeholders and participants providing friendly timely advice and support to ensure our programs run smoothly and deliver real value.
As a Senior Officer you will:
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver organisational development programs and initiatives that meet defined objectives.
- Provide clear advice guidance and support to a diverse range of stakeholders on programs and systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes.
- Deliver dedicated support for a variety of programs across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and implement practical accessible solutions that address the needs of Deakin team members
To be successful youll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in administration and related activities in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience in project management and ability to manage stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
