Description
Location: Middletown NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate $18.04/hr
Travel to other sites possible

- Floor Care (Knowledge of buffer machines and Floor Scrubbers helpful).
- Responsible for keeping the restrooms cleaned sanitized and stocked
- Trash and recyclables
- Carpet Cleaning (Use of carpet extractor)
- Clean all windows
- Light Painting/repairs
- Vacuuming/dusting
- Keep walkways free of snow ice and debris
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively openly and honestly with staff and leaders on a consistent basis
- Great attention to details
- Multi-tasker
- Able to quickly asses and react to situation requiring a custodial remedy.
- Previous experience in the janitorial field preferably in an office/industrial setting
- Reliable transportation with a valid drivers license
- Must be capable to stand for longs periods of time
- Must be able to lift a mop bucket full of water over obstacles
- Must be capable to move throughout work day. Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to lift arms over your head to reach high places
- Must be able to move in tight spaces
- Frequent lifting of > 25 pounds
