Job Description:
This position exists to coordinate and administer the interventional psychiatry treatments provided within the Outpatient Psychiatry Department. The coordinator will be responsible for administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments according to protocols provided by Medical Director supporting and educating patients before during and after treatments collaborating with other treatment professionals and providing a safe and supportive treatment atmosphere. This position may also assist in other areas of the clinic and acts as a liaison between the medical team patients families and other healthcare providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required. An Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of employment experience in a healthcare setting required.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook).
BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a TMS tech MA CNA EMT EEG tech Medic and/or experience in a
mental health care environment with psychiatric patients highly preferred.
