Salary up to 12.21 per hour plus company van & fuel card
We provide the repairs and maintenance service in approx. 4500 Dover District Council properties Services provided: Responsive repairs Voids Disabled adaptations External and major work and Kitchens and bathroom refurbishments.
About the Role:
As a General Operative you will be working alongside Dover District Council providing a stable and profitable contract delivering excellent service and support through our local teams who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
A General Operative with our Dover branch. You will be out supporting residents with repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties working from job to job on our day-to-day repairs contract. Part of a local team undertaking high standard General repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety quality and cost control standards.
Key Criteria:
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
