Job Summary
I.T technicians install diagnose repair and maintain hardware and software components on the MnTC network.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. - Installation and termination of network cabling and equipment related to computers phones patch panels printers Wi-Fi cameras TVs security systems and other devices.
- Inspects labels and tests existing cable installations and repairs when needed.
- Provides documentation reports videos and training material for door and camera security systems across our campuses.
- Complete daily tickets related to installations repairs maintenance and troubleshooting of network devices and software used to support them.
- Train staff on how to use IT systems and walkthrough troubleshooting with end users.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
- General computer and hardware knowledge to successfully run wires through buildings create penetration points and install devices on the wall or ceiling.
- Proficiency with the installation and repair of standard office equipment.
- Flexible schedule due to regular remote travel.
- Requires employee to use company or personal vehicle for work related traveling.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on ladders.
- Ability to work on call after hours.

Target Compensation (Negotiable based on qualifications):
$19.00-$20.00/hour
