What Youll Do:
Were looking for the ultimate Jack (or Jill)-of-All-Trades. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing all hotel equipment from kitchen laundry and plumbing to HVAC electrical and guest roomsall with minimum downtime. When things go south youre the one to call!
Heres a snapshot of essential job functions:
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing and control systems.
- Monitor and maintain essential plant systems (e.g. boilers chillers generators pumps BMS systems).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests faults and alarms ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Carry out shift handovers and recordkeeping of daily activities incidents and repairs.
- Perform inspections testing and troubleshooting of equipment to identify potential failures.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant codes regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to support smooth operations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and energy-saving projects.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g. HVAC Electrical License Boiler Operation) are a plus.
Certifications (Preferred):
- EPA Certification
- HVAC Electrical or other technical certifications
Experience:
- Minimum 25 years of experience in a similar role preferably in manufacturing/hospitality/facility management/etc..
- Experience in shift work and fast-paced environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and monitoring systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
Abilities Required
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Climbing reading standing walking and routinely lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.

Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (day/night) with weekend and holiday coverage as required.
- Physically demanding work including standing for long periods and working in confined spaces or heights.
