Description

The Role

The Supporter Experience Coordinator supports the growth and stewardship of Guide Dogs Victorias Gifts in Wills program while also supporting philanthropic engagement and donor relations across the mid-major donor portfolio. This dual focus ensures we nurture long-term values-aligned supporters and secure critical future income to sustain our life-changing services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative and stewardship activities related to the Gifts in Wills program and respond to enquiries from prospective bequestors and their legal representatives.
  • Maintain and update bequestor records and communication history in the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Coordinate and help deliver donor engagement activities such as Wills & Bequests morning teas campus tours and thank-you communications.
  • Assist the Philanthropy Manager and team with cultivation solicitation and stewardship of mid-level and major donors.
  • Contribute to donor research and briefing documents to support relationship development.


Skills And Experiences

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in fundraising donor relations or related administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a high degree of empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail organisation and time management skills.
  • Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as end-of-life planning.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce experience highly regarded).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A values-driven approach and a genuine passion for inclusion access and social impact.
