About the Opportunity
The Australian Ocean Data Network (AODN) is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer or UI Web Developer.
As a Senior Web Developer you will support the technical development of a small skilled team in geospatial and web-based applications and services. The Senior Web Developer will also provide technical expertise in system design guiding the team in the development and implementation of new data-driven systems.
The Web UI Developer will enhance AODNs data visualization and delivery capabilities by designing and implementing modern user-friendly web applications. This role involves collaborating with the team to support and maintain existing systems ensuring high-quality UI/UX and staying updated with emerging technologies.
The AODN infrastructure employs open-source principles and standards-based frameworks utilising ISO and OGC standards for metadata and data and is hosted on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. These positions offer a unique opportunity to contribute to a national effort in observing and understanding our marine environment.

Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 will have a total remuneration package of up to $130942 comprising base salary within the range of $101821 to $111917 plus 17% superannuation.
