Position Summary
Doane University is looking for an energetic student-centered Assistant Director of Extended Learning Opportunities to join our Extended Learning Opportunities ( ELO ) team! This hybrid role allows for remote work while requiring occasional on-site presence at our Lincoln campus as well as travel to K12 partner school sites during application and registration periods. The Assistant Director supports the continued growth of learning opportunities and services that support non-degree seeking student success with an emphasis on oversight of dual enrollment. Reporting to the Executive Director of Extended Learning Opportunities ( ELO ) the Assistant Director manages the day-to-day operations of non-degree programming related to the development of course schedules textbook management registration processes and procedures adjunct faculty onboarding and communication with K-12 partners. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of the Universitys student management system and learning management systems along with the ability to execute technical functions within them. The Assistant Director must consider how new processes affect the students online experience and anticipate potential challenges or improvements. Additional responsibilities include monitoring dual-enrollment online registration and payment functions and partnering with technology services to resolve student technical issues. Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree and 3 years of Experience related to education dual enrollment higher education and advising or registration.
