Job Description Summary

Summary

Under the direction of the Procurement Program Manager this role supports the Procurement team in its management of the supplier base with respect to supplier spend data supplier optimization and consolidation supplier onboarding insurance compliance and other reporting needs on the Citigroup account. This position is crucial to maintaining high levels of compliance cost savings achievement and managing supplier performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Supplier Spend Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze account spend perform cost benchmarking and review processes to consistently identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities supplier consolidation and optimization.
  • Manage the development installation and maintenance of tracking and reporting mechanisms that yield the appropriate outputs and conform to requested forms and frequencies.
  • Generate and distribute all necessary and requested reports.

Supplier Performance Management Onboarding and Compliance

  • Implement programs facilitate supplier audits and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and initiatives to ensure the achievement of all goals metrics and KPIs are met.
  • Responsible for supplier consolidation and supplier diversity efforts.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding process fielding any troubleshooting challenges that team members encounter with supplier onboarding process.
  • Review and submit any certificate of insurance (COI) escalations as necessary for suppliers that require deviations from C&W minimum insurance requirements.

Contracting Database Management

  • Manage the contract repository for all account supplier agreements including developing and maintaining a filing taxonomy.
  • Regularly reviewing and reporting to Procurement team members upcoming contract expirations through the development and use of a contract management report.

Other

  • Maintain ethical and commonly accepted good business practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (Business Accounting Economics Finance or Supply Chain Management) or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of one to three years experience working with Accounting Finance or Procurement role or equivalent related experience.

  • Must possess analytical and quantitative skills with ability to analyze and interpret information data and related documentation.
  • Candidate should demonstrate proactiveness to their daily tasks and projects while being able to complete tasks with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

  • Proficient in the following Microsoft Applications: Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience in working closely with other shared service departments such as: Accounts Payable Human Resources Finance and Procurement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $63750.00 - $75000.00
