Job Description
We are hiring a Dentist for one of our clients in Columbia SC.
Job Description:
- Examine and Diagnose using x-rays including Panorex Bitewing Peri-apical films
- Place composite fillings
- Provide local anesthesia
- Place sealants
- Provide dental prophylaxis exam fluoride
- Possible calculus debridement when necessary
- Crowns-PFM or gold (we utilize a dental lab for fabrication of crowns)
- Simple extractions-we have the equipment however all extractions may be referred out.
- Create review and update dental policies/procedures
- Serve as Dental Director
- Serve on the SCDJJ medical committee
- Note: Third molar extractions root canals and existing orthodontics are referred out.
- We have a full-time dental assistant onsite who will assist in all procedures.
- Fully equipped dental clinic with newly acquired equipment necessary to perform dental procedures.
Certification:
- The certification is that they must be licensed to practice dentistry in SC and their license issued by The State Board of Dentistry.
Schedule:
- The hours are negotiable; however the preferred schedule would be 3 days a week 8:30-4:30.
- We have flexibility on the days and some flexibility on the times
