Job Title: Quality Inspector Machined Parts
Location: Conroe TX
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: Plant Manager
We are looking for a skilled and detail-driven Quality Inspector to join our growing team in this role youll play a key part in ensuring the highest level of precision and quality in small machined automotive components. If you enjoy working hands-on with advanced inspection tools thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in catching the smallest of details this position is for you.
-Perform inspections on small machined parts to verify compliance with engineering drawings specifications and industry standards.
-Utilize precision tools such as micrometers calipers height gauges and indicators.
-Operate advanced metrology equipment including optical comparators Faro Arm and CMM systems (Mahr and Zeiss).
-Accurately document inspection results and maintain thorough quality records.
-Identify and report non-conformances to Production and Quality Leadership.
-Work from blueprints and technical drawings applying GD&T principles.
-Maintain strict adherence to company safety and quality procedures.
-Thursday - Sunday
-7:00 AM-7:00 PM
-Rotating schedule: 4 days on 3 days off
-Compensation
-$21.00 $24.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
-2 years of experience inspecting precision machined parts (automotive or manufacturing preferred)
-Proficient with both manual and digital measuring tools
-Hands-on experience with Faro Arm Mahr CMM and Zeiss CMM (required)
-Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings
-Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 quality standards (a plus)
-Excellent attention to detail documentation and organizational skills
-Strong communication and teamwork mindset
-High school diploma or GED (technical certification or associate degree preferred)
-Previous Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive manufacturing experience
-Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality reporting tools
-Experience with inspection software and digital reporting
