Job Description
Position: Engineer
- Technician SE Robot Team
- Support and lead digital factory updates (Delmia C3/AutoCad/MS office)
- Study Z1/Z2 welding processes for feasibility
- Estimate robotic welding process cycle time
- Create 3D concept welding equipment and end of arm tooling models
- Work across multiple data formats to develop robot welding strategiesOffline robot teaching using digital engineering software
- Support Engineering for Bodyweld model change activities
- Create documentation in support of offline and onsite robot teaching activities
- 2 year technical degree (A.S.) or equivalent work experience
- Experience in manufacturing and/or robotics
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Highly proficient with MS excel
- 3D design software experience(i.e. CATIA DELIMA SOLIDWORKS)
- MS SharePoint experience VB or VBA experience
- Automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic material handling teaching or offline data preparation experience
