Job Description
Job Summary
We are supporting a well-established international logistics company in hiring an International Forwarder. This person will coordinate international transport operations maintain service standards and support customer relationships.
Description
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of goods for customers
- Enter and update shipment data accurately in internal systems
- Communicate with hauliers and subcontractors to ensure timely transport
- Resolve delivery issues (e.g. delays damages refused loads)
- Ensure compliance with regulations especially for hazardous goods
- Monitor and report on profit margins and shipment costs
- Support preparation of pricing offers and tenders
- Maintain and develop the companys haulier database
- Handle invoicing cost checking and insurance claim files
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and identify upselling opportunities
- Provide back-up to colleagues in case of absence
Requirements
- Experience in logistics freight forwarding or transport coordination
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Fluent in Hungarian and English (additional Eastern European language is a plus)
- Customer-focused attitude and problem-solving mindset
