Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Moudling Production Technician, on behalf of a global medical technology company, working night shift 11pm-11am full time. This is a permanent position based in Plymouth.
The Role:
This role will be responsible for the production of plastic components using injection moulding machines.

The Role:
This role will be responsible for the production of plastic components using injection moulding machines.
Responsibilities:
- Operating injection moulding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
- Troubleshooting any issues with the machines or processes through root cause analysis and technical fault finding.
- Completion of routine planned maintenance - Weekly, Monthly & 6 Monthly.
- Assisting PM Technician with annual maintenance tasks on machines.
- Working safely and adhering to all health and safety regulations and internal procedures.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborating with all members of shift core team including Operators, Quality Technicians, Engineers and Shift Leaders.
- Documenting production data and maintaining accurate records through SAP.
- Conducting regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Your Background:
- Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g: C&G, HND) or a time served apprenticeship.
- Experience in maintenance and fault finding in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in an Electrical Technical based role is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques is a distinct advantage.
- Previous experience of Injection Moulding is desirable although not mandatory.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
